Bernard and Matthieu Baudry are widely recognized as the masters of organic Chinon. Their 'Les Granges' is the estate’s quintessential 'bistro' wine, designed for early enjoyment. Sourced from alluvial sand and gravel terraces along the Vienne River, the terroir naturally produces a perfumed, silky style of Cabernet Franc. While the 2024 vintage was demanding—requiring tireless work to combat the rain and mildew—it ultimately played to the strengths of this cuvée. The wine offers a snap of electric acidity and fine-grained structure, delivering a crunchy, vibrant red that prioritizes energy and freshness over weight.
