Didier Fornerol manages his family domaine in the village of Corgoloin, where he has applied the rigor learned during his sixteen-year tenure at Domaine de l’Arlot to his own six-hectare estate since 1999. The fruit for this bottling is made from Pinot Noir grown on 40-year-old vines across three distinct parcels west of the village, characterized by limestone-rich soils. In the glass, the wine shows bright red cherry and raspberry fruit notes, balanced by a grounded earthiness and a supple, silky texture. The 2024 vintage, though a challenging growing season, resulted in a classic, refined profile with high acidity and delicate, integrated tannins.
