Domaine de Souch is a family estate located in the hills of Laroin, where the late Yvonne Hégoburu began producing wine in 1987, pioneering biodynamic farming in the Jurançon appellation long before it became a standard for quality in the region. The vineyards are situated on south-facing slopes at 300 meters above sea level, where vines are rooted in flinty clay soils known as "poudingues," and are made from a blend of Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng. In the glass, this wine presents a textured, focused profile with distinct notes of candied citrus, acacia honey, and a persistent mineral edge that balances its sweetness. The 2024 vintage provided the necessary conditions to retain the estate's signature high acidity, ensuring the fruit remains vibrant and clear. This is a balanced, expressive wine that is ready to enjoy.
