2024 Domaine Tempier, Bandol Rouge, Migoua

Domaine Tempier, located in the heart of the Bandol appellation, has been a family-run estate since 1834 and was instrumental in establishing the region’s AOC status in 1941. The Migoua vineyard is situated at 300 meters on a complex mix of limestone, dolomite, and clay soils, where vines averaging 40 years of age produce a blend made from Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah. In the glass, the wine offers deep notes of dark cherry, dried herbs, and black olive with a structured, savory texture. The 2024 vintage provided the necessary conditions to maintain this characteristic balance between intensity and freshness.
