2024 Domaine Tempier, Bandol Rose

Bone-dry and perfectly suited to all sorts of food, this is a rosé like no other. Domaine Tempier is one of France's most iconic estates. Centered in Bandol in Provence, the Peyraud family is synonymous with the region and has been turning out world class, terroir-driven wines for decades. Kermit Lynch, who has imported these wines since the late 70’s, considers Tempier to be the cornerstone of his entire portfolio and played no small part their rise to prominence. Without a doubt, the Peyraud family produce one of the great rosés in France, a bottling we look forward to each vintage. Comprised primarily of Mourvèdre with Grenache and Cinsault, the wine is richer and more vinous than a typical Provence rosé, with succulent fruit and a juicy texture.
