Eleni and Edouard Vocoret established their domaine in the village of Chablis in 2013, applying a sustainable approach to farming that reflects a new, rigorous generation of local growers. Their En Boucheran wine is made from Chardonnay grown in a 0.89-hectare plot featuring Kimmeridgian soils with high concentrations of white clay, situated between the Vaillons and Montmains premier crus. The wine offers bright citrus, green apple, and chalky mineral notes, supported by a rich, textured, and broad structure on the palate. Despite the challenges of the 2024 vintage, the growing season resulted in a focused, saline, and energetic wine that captures the classic character of the region. This is a well-balanced bottle that is ready to enjoy now but possesses the depth to evolve with a few years in the cellar.
