2024 Envinate, Tenerife, Parcela Margalagua Taganan

Envínate is a collective of four winemakers who formed in 2005 and focus on exploring ancient, Atlantic-influenced vineyard sites across Spain, including their work in the village of Taganana, Tenerife. This wine is made from a field blend of indigenous varieties, including Negramoll and Listán Negro, harvested from ancient vines planted on steep slopes of iron-rich red basalt and sandy volcanic soil. In the glass, it reveals delicate floral aromas alongside notes of red cherry, black peppercorns, and a distinct mineral salinity. The 2024 vintage is lighter than the previous year, resulting in an ethereal character with vibrant acidity and fine, well-integrated tannins. This wine is balanced and precise, offering a clear expression of its volcanic origin that is ready to enjoy now or can be held for further development.
