Domaine François Mikulski operates out of the village of Meursault, where the estate has been managed by François Mikulski since 1991, continuing the lineage of his uncle, Pierre Boillot. This wine is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in a tiny 0.2-hectare parcel of Les Gouttes d'Or, where vines planted between 1963 and 1989 draw nutrients from a thick layer of silt over a layered limestone bedrock. In the glass, the wine offers a structured profile with notes of citrus, guava, and lime, balanced by a juicy, energetic texture and a long, mineral-driven finish. The 2024 vintage provided a challenging growing season that resulted in fresh, precise, and acid-driven wines with notable aromatic clarity. With its balance and vibrant tension, this 1er Cru is well-suited for several years of cellaring or can be enjoyed after a period of rest.
