2024 Martin Texier, La Preyna, VdF

Martin Texier works just outside Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban, farming family parcels long tended by his father, Eric. Before returning to the vines, he spent time as a DJ, and it shows—his wines make you want to dance. La Preyna comes from a single granite-based parcel, planted to ~75% Cinsault and 25% Grenache. 

The approach is simple: Cinsault whole cluster, Grenache destemmed, about a week of maceration, then finished and aged in concrete, bottled in spring without filtration.
