2024 Paul Pillot, Bourgogne Aligote Blanc

Domaine Paul Pillot is a Chassagne-Montrachet family estate founded in 1900 by Jean-Baptiste Pillot, a barrel maker who turned to working his own vines full time. The domaine farms 13 hectares, with holdings concentrated in Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. The 2024 vintage in Burgundy was small and wet, and critics rated the whites above the reds, describing them as having energy and mineral clarity. As the domaine's most affordable white, it is a direct introduction to the house style.
