A family-owned project established in 2002, Thomas Rivers Brown and Genevieve Marie Welsh, focus on small-production wines from the extreme western coast of Sonoma. The project serves as a personal counterpoint to his high-end, powerful Napa Cabernet consulting work, Schrader Cellars among them. This blend is made from grapes sourced across several key sites in the Occidental-Freestone area, including Riddle Vineyard, Bearwallow, and Silver Eagle. The wine offers clear notes of pomegranate, dried herbs, and loamy earth with a balanced, mid-weight structure. The 2024 growing season produced a naturally bountiful crop, resulting in a wine that is light on its feet with a fresh, early-drinking charm. This bottling is ready to enjoy tonight, offering accessible fruit balanced by a firm, refreshing acidity.
