Vignai da Duline is operated by Federica Magrini and Lorenzo Mocchiutti in the village of Villanova del Judrio, where they have been farming vines since inheriting the property from Lorenzo's grandfather in the late 1990s. The estate produces this wine from limestone and red clay soils, utilizing vines first planted in 1977 that are farmed with organic practices and minimal intervention. In the glass, the wine shows a bright ruby hue with prominent aromas of freshly milled black pepper, tart red berries, and subtle floral notes, all framed by a fresh, vibrant structure. The 2024 growing season provided the necessary conditions to maintain this characteristic acidity and buoyancy, resulting in a wine that is technically sound and expressive of its site.
