2025 M. et C. Lapierre, Morgon, Cuvee Marcel Lapierre

Domaine M. et C. Lapierre is a cornerstone of the Villié-Morgon village in Beaujolais, currently managed by Mathieu and Camille Lapierre who continue the organic farming and minimal-intervention legacy established by their father in the 1970s. This wine is made from Gamay grown in decomposed granite soils on vines that average between 45 and 70 years of age. In the glass, it reveals bright notes of cherry and plum, supported by a mineral-driven, structured texture that remains remarkably pure. The 2025 vintage was shaped by a challenging growing season involving summer heat and hail that reduced yields, resulting in a wine of concentrated character and intensity. It offers an excellent balance of elegance and depth, making it a reliable choice to enjoy now or to hold in the cellar for further development.
