2024 Raccaro, Collio Bianco, Rolat Friulano

The Raccaro family has farmed their seven-hectare estate in the Collio Goriziano since 1928, maintaining their vineyards on the slopes of Monte Quarin near the historic town of Cormòns. This bottling comes from the "Rolat" parcel, where vines over 50 years old are rooted in *ponca*—a traditional sedimentary soil of marl and sandstone that lends a distinct mineral tension to the wine. The result is a texturally focused white showing notes of white peach, wild flowers, and a faint, hallmark hint of bitter almond on the finish. A steady, measured growing season allowed the fruit to reach full maturity while retaining the bright acidity essential to the regional style.
