2018 Bartolo Mascarello, Barbera d'Alba

The Cantina Bartolo Mascarello is one of the legendary and historic producers of the Barolo appellation. The winery has stood as a beacon of staunch Barolo traditionalism since its official inception in 1918.

Barbera is sourced from San Lorenzo (Barolo) and aged for approximately 20 months in large, old oak casks (botti). Although these are not the highly sought after Barolo, they are of exceptional terroir and are fun and delicious to drink.
