2021 Cappellano, Barbera d'Alba

Dark fruited and powerful Barbera from the Serralunga area. Cappellano is one of the great addresses in all of Piemonte. We get a box of Barbera and Dolcetto every year, and they are always incredible iterations of the “humble” Piedmont “lunch” wines. Nice wine to warm the soul during cold nights – and capable of ageing too. Best to decant for an hour. Awesome wine with a burger and fries.
