Chapelle St. Theodoric is a boutique estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape that operates through a long-standing partnership between importer Peter Weygandt and winemaker Baptiste Grangeon. This wine is made from 100% Grenache sourced from the La Guigasse lieu-dit, where the vines range between 50 and 100 years old and grow in pure, deep sandy soils. In the glass, it shows complex notes of cherry, dried spices, and subtle herbal garrigue with a structured, silky texture. The 2017 vintage experienced a hot, dry summer that concentrated the fruit, resulting in a wine that balances intensity with a refined, lifted character.
