2021 Comte Abbatucci, Vin de Corse, Cuvee Collection General de la Revolution

A masterful field blend of six rare native white varieties (Vermentinu, Rossola Brandinca, Riminese, Carcajolo Bianco, Biancone, and Paga Debiti) sourced from the family's historic conservation vineyard. Named after one of Jean-Charles Abbatucci's illustrious ancestors, this is an incredibly complex, age-worthy, and monumental white wine. It presents a kaleidoscopic bouquet of white flowers, delicate sea spray, and wild maquis herbs (mint, fennel, thyme). This is very classic of Abbatucci’s wines. They always smell like maquis. On the palate, it balances a rich, creamy, and ample texture with a driving, saline-laced acidity that keeps it fresh, energetic, and perfectly poised on the finish.
