Domaine de Marzilly is a family-run estate located in Hermonville, at the northern edge of the Massif de Saint-Thierry in the Champagne region. Founded in 2012 by architect Maxime Ullens after he acquired a historic, abandoned château, the estate operates on four hectares of vineyards managed with organic principles. This wine is made from 100% Pinot Meunier grown in sandy, limestone, and clay soils that contribute to its distinct structural tension. In the glass, it displays notes of red berries, pear, and toasted brioche, characterized by a chalky texture and a focused, vinous presence. With its balance of crisp acidity and concentrated fruit, this bottle is ready to enjoy now but possesses the structure to hold in the cellar.
