Genot is a great producer that we’ve worked with for 10+ vintages. This over-performing Aloxe premier cru red from the stone-filled Clos du Chapitre vineyard sits just below the church, among the houses and wine-cellars in Aloxe. This is a concentrated, rocky, brambly darker Pinot but it has guts and intrigue and always disappears quickly in the glass. Can’t go wrong with Genot’s wines.
