The Taganan vineyards are literally wild, found in a national park in the northeastern corner of Tenerife. The vines are not trained or planted on rootstock, and have many varieties interplanted, some still unidentified. Taganan Tinto is a blend of Listan Negro, Vijariego, Malvasia Negra, Baboso, Negramoll and others with some vines up to 300 years old!
