Gallois Bouche, Champagne, Vertus, Preface

Gallois-Bouché is a Récoltant-Manipulant estate located in the Premier Cru village of Vertus, within the southern sector of the Côte des Blancs. The "Préface" cuvée is sourced entirely from the domaine's proprietary vineyards, which are planted on the region's characteristic chalk and clay-limestone soils.

Vinification is handled with minimal intervention to maintain site transparency. The resulting Champagne is linear and highly focused, driven by a distinct chalky minerality. The palate centers on crisp green apple, lemon pith, and crushed stone, framed by a fine, persistent mousse and bright acidity. It is a precise, structurally sound representation of the Vertus terroir.
