L'Encantada, an independent bottler founded by passionate enthusiasts, champions the authentic expression of Armagnac, meticulously selecting unadulterated, cask-strength eaux-de-vie primarily from the Bas-Armagnac region. This specific terroir, distinguished by its "sables fauves" (tawny sands) and high-acidity base wines, contributes to a spirit of inherent finesse. The X.O. Cigar Reserve is a complex assemblage of six vintage casks, aged between 12 and nearly 40 years, carefully chosen to deliver a robust and layered structure. Distilled once in a continuous alembic, this Armagnac retains a breadth of aromatic compounds, evolving through extended oak maturation to yield significant depth and a commanding presence on the palate.
