Pierre Peters, a six-generation grower-producer, cultivates 18 hectares of Grand Cru Chardonnay using sustainable methods and massal selection to express the inherent quality of their terroir. Rodolphe Péters employs a minimal intervention philosophy, utilizing a perpetual reserve system, aged in diverse vessels, to build complexity and consistent house style. Sourced primarily from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, with parcels in Oger, Cramant, and Avize, the vineyards are rooted in the Côte des Blancs' famed Cretaceous chalk and limestone soils. These east-facing slopes and mineral-rich grounds dictate the wine's characteristic tension and precise structure. The resulting Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, disgorged 2/2025, displays a vibrant, linear focus underpinned by racy acidity and a prominent chalky minerality. Its structural reality is one of elegant precision and impressive persistence, reflecting the pure expression of its Grand Cru origins.
