Wild Common—led by Master Distiller Salvador Rosales Trejo and the Rosales family at the historic Cascahuín distillery (NOM 1123)—is dedicated to fully traditional, additive-free tequila production. Their Reposado begins with 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from the Highlands of Jalisco, slow-roasted for 72 hours in brick ovens to build depth, sweetness, and complexity; a hybrid extraction method using both the traditional tahona and a roller mill, along with natural fermentation including agave fibers, shapes a distinctive textural and aromatic profile before double distillation in copper pot stills. The tequila then rests a minimum of six months in used American bourbon barrels, gaining refined structure and subtle oak accents while preserving a vibrant agave core, and is bottled at 42% ABV for enhanced clarity and presence—an exemplary expression of Cascahuín’s craft and Wild Common’s commitment to authenticity.
