Wine Class: Exploration of Spain: 5/28
Wine Class: Exploration of Spain: 5/28

From the Mediterranean coast to the rugged volcanic slopes of the Canary Islands, Spain is a landscape defined by incredible geological variety. This class is a portrait of that diversity: cool coastal regions, to the saline and wind-swept character of the islands, to the intense, mineral-driven power of Priorat’s llicorella slate. We will move through the country site by site, exploring how these distinct environments make Spanish wine so distinct.
Kimberly Cavoores, Wine and Experience Director of Manhattan Wine Company, will guide you through each variety — where it grows, what it tastes like, and why Piedmont rewards the curious drinker again and again.
