This amaro pays homage to a few things: the caffe corretto, the history of using chicory in New Orleans style coffee, and the American tradition of rye whiskey. Infused with coffee beans, cacao, chicory, orange peel and cardamom, bittered with cinchona, burdock, and gentian, and then aged in 6yr old Elijah Craig rye whisky barrels. Big and intense without being cloying, this is great on its own or as a little extra in a black Manhattan or espresso martini!
