Domaine du Bagnol is a property based in Cassis, a small subregion in Provence, that is located just meters from the Mediterranean Sea. The estate is certified organic and produces lovely wines that admirably reflect their Provencal origins. The Cassis rosé is a blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Cinsault made via the direct press method and is aged for 6 months on lees. It is dry and bright with a silky texture and a salty finish. Flavors of ripe peach and blood orange predominate with enticing notes of garrigue and just a touch of spice. A lovely summer rosé with just enough depth to keep things interesting. Try it with summer salads, grilled fish, or as an aperitif.
