This killer baby Amarone, aka. Valpolicella, is just bonkers good for the price. These Valpolicella wines always have folks come back pining for more. By comparison to the Amarone, it uses the same grapes, but this macerates for only 10-12 days (vs. 30-40 days for the Stropa Amarone), and does not leverage sun-dried, shriveled grapes. But it is still chock full of body and joy.
