Cyril Fhal's Cotes Catalanes Blanc is quite coveted as it hails from 70-year-old Macabeu vines growing on hillsides of gneiss and orthogneiss; expect a distinctly saline, mineral freshness and some herbal allusions to the finish. The caressing texture of this wine is marvelous. Many consider this an excellent alternative to white Burgundy - such is the masterful touch of Cyril Fhal.
