A biodynamically-grown blend of Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau, from a very special producer we hold dear as we receive very little of these wines. This is from the Jura Mountain region of France, and will delight with its autumnal, cranberry-ish, snappy earthy profile. Great chilled with pork tenderloins or even rare flank steak, a lovely fit for a day with a cool breeze. Organic and biodynamic, the Trouillots vineyard was planted by Valentin's father in the early 80s. The vineyard is strewn with red and gray marl atop a limestone bedrock, and it faces due south; this vineyard is the heart of Valentin’s domaine, and the center of all his devotion in farming.
