This is an outstanding rare wine from the Southwest of France. This dry bottling is made from 100% Petit Manseng. When you craft dry wines from varieties that were in regions historically devoted to dessert wines, you quite often end up with the same magical outcome: a dry wine that has an almost creamy and honeyed entry and a repressed fruitiness to it, which does a brilliant somersault as it moves from the attack to the dry, mineral finish. They're captivating wines, and they're exceptionally versatile at the dinner table. This hails from 40-80 year old vines in Lahourcade and Cuqueron.
