Bodega Chacra was founded by Italian Piero Inciso, the grandson of the creator of Sassicaia. Piero belived that Argentina could produce world-class wines, and he set out to prove it using mainly natural farming and winemaking methods. For his Chardonnays, he brought in a ringer – Jean-Marc Roulot of Domaine Roulot! These Chardonnays punch far above their weight, with the signature Roulot precision and purity and textbook aromas of barrel-fermented Chardonnay. This has a sharp and long palate with salinity and length that make it incredibly tasty.
