If you want to see how powerful Sancerre can be, check out Cotat’s wines. They are ripe, almost tropical, and sometimes there’s even a trace of residual sugar. But there's always enough electric acidity to balance it out. There’s a lot of ‘everything’ in a glass of Cotat! Unsurprisingly, a lot of Sancerre-philes think this is the greatest address in the region. Cotat’s whites can age for decades. Of his three white lieux-dits, Grand Cote is the broadest and most opulent.
