The Details: This Saturday, forget what you thought about Rheinhessen—20 years ago, it was just the home of cheap supermarket wine, but today it's producing some serious gems. The biggest name in the region is Klaus Peter Keller, but unless you have $400+  to drop on a bottle, you need to know about Florian Fauth. He’s Keller’s brother-in-law, and he’s making phenomenal, mineral-rich wines from the exact same legendary Westhofen vineyards. He manages 17 hectares of sustainable vines, and the quality is just incredible.
