Please join us on Wednesday March 6th from 6-7pm as we welcome Franca Miretti of Cantina del Pino to our shop for an exclusive tasting. Franca is the wife of the late great winemaker Renato Vacca. Over the past two plus decades, Renato produced some of the very best wines of the entire Barbaresco appellation. Renato was remarkable, passionate, driven and seemed to bleed Barbaresco wines. We’ve always admired his unique ability to craft incredibly true, transparent wines, and of course the incredible value they represent. Renato Vacca tragically passed away from cancer in 2020. Franca will be on hand to guide us through an exciting lineup of their lauded 2019 Barbarescos.
Many of you have already purchased and have been enjoying these wines since we featured them a few months ago. If you haven't already had the chance to try, now is your chance to taste the last set of wines made by Renato. She will only be in town for a few days and we are extremely honored to have her at our shop to taste with us! This is a rolling tasting, so feel free to stop by anytime from 6-7pm.
