There’s pressure to improve from Dijon to Lyon, and while land prices have sky-rocketed in the more famous villages, conscientious growers are taking “modest” terroirs to new heights. In addition, we are seeing famous growers from the Côte d’Or produce some of the best wines we’ve ever tasted from these same emerging areas.
