We’re really in an amazing time to drink Tequila (or any agave-based spirits really) as the breadth of top-notch options has really bloomed. Gone are the days where anything reasonably priced on the shelf was bound to be some caramel-colored mixto that was a blend of sub-par Tequila and other neutral spirits. Cimarron is all estate grown blue weber agave and the liquid he culls from these piñas is perfect for both sipping and mixing. This has a classic vegetal profile with notes of sweet agave and a lean dry finish. It is our (and several close friends) standard house Tequila because it is almost impossible to beat at this price.
