Josh Raynolds - Vinous

(aged in 25% new oak): Inky ruby. Deep-pitched black and blue fruit, licorice and floral pastille aromas, plus peppery spice and cola notes emerging with aeration. Sappy and sharply focused on the palate, showing boysenberry and cassis flavors lifted by tangy acidity. A smoky mineral nuance appears on the very long, vibrant finish, where harmonious tannins provide shape and closing grip.
