We fell hard for Michel Reverdy’s delightfully old school Sancerre blanc after first tasting it, and it's been a staple at the shop whenever we're able to keep it in stock. Michel's family have been Sancerre producers in Verdigny for as long as records have been around. The appellation may now be the most glamorous in the Loire, but Michel is a true dirt-under-the-nails vigneron, working with a devotion and skill that is up there with the very best in Sancerre. Fresh, mineral driven and pure, with a faint hint of dried herbs, this is Sauvignon Blanc with immense character and charm.
