It gets harder and harder to find good scotch that doesnt cost an arm and a leg or a muffin top and a bingo wing. The Glenfarclas 10 year is a spot on highland dram that makes for a pleasant, easy-sipping intro to the world of scotch whisky. Notes of sherry, raisin, and green apple come at you with a gentle force that forgoes the dense cloy of some of the richer speysiders. Dare I say a summer dram? I dunno. Maybe I don't dare as that sounds kinda dumb. Also who doesn't love drinking whisky in the summer? None of my friends, I'll tell you that.
