e thrilled to offer the newly released 2024 vintage from Domaine Marquis d'Angerville, one of Burgundy's most revered names.The 2024 vintage from Marquis d'Angerville results in wines made from the most crystalline, rigorously selected fruit each site has to offer. Faced with a challenging growing season that tested even the region's finest producers, Guillaume d'Angerville and his team persevered through grueling hours in the vineyards and at the sorting table. Beloved premier crus Taillepieds, Frémiets, Clos des Angles, and Caillerets were not produced this vintage and were instead folded into the Volnay 1er Cru alongside the usual blend of Pitures and Mitans, making this cuvée a remarkable insider's value. For lovers of delicate aromatics, tension, and vibrant acidity, the 2024s offer an old-school, gastronomic charm that is becoming increasingly rare in Burgundy today.
Key Highlights of the 2024 Vintage at Marquis d'Angerville
  • The return to classicism: Translucent and wildly perfumed aromatics. These are wines of nuance, lift, and elegance rather than raw power. Do not mistake this for a quick evolution.
